Cookies Policy.
This page explains how Kyra Law Limited uses cookies and similar storage on kyralaw.co.uk. For broader detail on how we handle visitor information, see our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage achieve a similar effect.
Our approach
We have deliberately built this website to use as little of your device's storage as possible. We do not set tracking, advertising, or marketing cookies, and we do not use third-party cookies that follow you around the web.
What we do use
We rely on legitimate interests under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) for security and error monitoring. The other items either set nothing in your browser at all, or store only a non-identifying flag.
What we do not use
- Marketing or advertising cookies.
- Cross-site tracking pixels.
- Social-media tracking embeds.
- Re-targeting cookies.
- Third-party advertising networks.
If we ever need to add a cookie that requires consent, we will update the cookie banner and ask first.
How to control cookies
Modern browsers let you block, delete, or restrict cookies and storage. The exact steps differ by browser:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Preferences, then Privacy.
- Firefox:Settings, then Privacy & Security.
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
Disabling browser storage may prevent some basic site functions from working as expected (for example, the cookie banner may reappear on each visit).
Changes
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will tell you when.
